Puppeteers Group CTBA releases a new show

"Ulysses and Penelope" is the name of the new show created by the Group of Puppeteers of Buenos Aires Theater Complex (CTBA), inspired by the characters from Greek mythology, which can be seen from Saturday 20 July at the Teatro Regio.

Led by Adelaida Mangani, the group uses the most varied techniques in this theatrical genre to bring to life one of the most spectacular epics, as Homer's Odyssey and the opera Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria, Monteverdi and Badoaro.

The functions start at the 15 and tickets can be purchased at the official site of the CTBA or at the box offices of the enclosure located on Avenida Cordoba 6056. Once opened, the work will be until Sunday 4 of August, Tuesday to Sunday.

This show, directed by Gabriela Marges, tells the story of Ulysses, After conceiving the Trojan Horse and defeat in a war that lasted ten years. Finally, the warrior will return to his home in Ithaca. But nevertheless, the gods Zeus and Neptune punished for challenge, convicting navigate aimlessly through eternidd.

On the other hand appears Penelope, who resist the absence of Ulysses, while crying tears of salt and tiptoed to the sea weaves. While waiting, Ulises receive the forgiveness of the gods, but now you must remember their land and the woman he loves.
