Grupo La Plaza announced its summer theatrical season 2021, in which more than 15 simultaneous shows on the bill in its four theaters.

Likewise, most of the works will count - together with their weekly face-to-face functions- with special dates of functions simultaneously by STREAMING to allow the enjoyment of audiences of all ages and from all over the country.

The season will start on 6 of January of 2021 en el Metropolitan Sura con el esperado estreno de “Lo Escucho”, the most explosive comedy starring Gabriel Goity and Jorge Suárez, directed by Carlos Olivieri.

El mismo día retomará sus funciones “Después de Nosotros” in the Paseo La Plaza, the acclaimed comedy-drama starring Julio Chávez and Alejandra Flechner, directed by Daniel Barone.

La misma semana se estrenará una nueva versión del musical de culto de Broadway “Casi Normales” con Laura Conforte, Martín Ruiz and cast, under the direction of Luis Romero and Julio Panno, Y “Conejo Blanco, Conejo Rojo”, by Iranian author Nassim Soleimanpour, a co-production with Timbre 4 that in each role a different actress or actor (Mercedes Morán, Jorge Marrale, Agustin Aristarain, Federico Bal, Jorgelina Aruzzi and Carola Reyna, among others) you will find the script just when you go on stage.

Durante el verano también llegará la segunda edición del “Verano OFF en el MET” en el Teatro Metropolitan Sura; an unusual opportunity to enjoy a selection of some of the best independent theater works that came to Corrientes street: “Inserts” de Lorena Vega, la multipremiada “El Amor es un Bien” de Francisco Lumerman inspirada en Tío Vania de Chejov; “El Arrebato”; el drama testimonial “Claveles Rojos” de Luis Agustoni; la experiencia teatral de terror “El Juego” Y “La Savia” con Mirta Busnelli.

El drama “La Fiesta del Viejo”, free version of King Lear, will return to Paseo La Plaza; y Ezequiel Hara Duck y Jonathan Camisier estrenarán una nueva versión de la experiencia de teatro por whatsapp “Clavemos el Visto 2.1” en la Avenida Corrientes peatonal.

El humor y el stand up también estarán presentes con el estreno en La Plaza de “Las Chicas de la Culpa”, with Malena Guinzburg, Connie Ballarini, Fernanda Metilli and Natalia Carulias; y los reestrenos de “Mellera Lauriente”, Juampi González en “Soltero”, Martin Pugliese en “Sinatra, la voz al final del túnel” Y “I Like Luly” by Pablo Angeli (en el Met).

Los viernes por la noche se presentarán shows especiales de exponentes del humor local como “Soy Rada and the Colibriquis”, Pablo Fabregas, Lucas Lauriente, Fernando Sanjiao, Nico Braun and Juan Barraza.

La grilla se completa en febrero con el regreso al Metropolitan Sura de la aclamada “Petroleum” del Grupo Piel de Lava y Laura Fernández, starring Pilar Gamboa, Elisa Carricajo, Laura Paredes and Valeria Correa.

A large part of the programming will offer special dates of functions by streaming simultaneously with their face-to-face functions for the public that, because they are part of the risk group or because they live far from the City of Buenos Aires, are unable to access the theater.
