INCAA updated the amounts of support for digital documentaries

Through a Resolution published in the Official Gazette, the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) reported about the update in the amounts of support in digital documentary productions.

In this way and according to the Resolution 107/2021 the different stops were detailed for all phases of a new realization.

In that context, will be paid until 250 thousand pesos during development; until 2.500.000 for production and up 750 thousand pesos in post-production. In turn, it was reported that the reimbursement of social charges may reach up to 140 A thousand pesos.

According to the statement issued by the entity, after several “years of joint work with the associations that bring together documentary filmmakers, Via Digital has become one of the most dynamic forms of promotion promoted by INCAA "and in turn adds that" through this route, films with great cultural diversity are made, valued at film festivals and by their viewers at a national and international level. ".

In this way "the contents of these stories are based on reality, according to the point of view of each documentarian, with preponderance in those professionals who start on the path of creative documentary in its contents and rigorous in its forms, still without prior production history ".

The statement ends by noting that "since the entry into force of the Vía Digital, a total of 800 national documentaries, at the rate of 60 by year, who have had screens in movie theaters, TV channels and video-on-demand platforms, including those of INCAA, like CINE.AR TV and CINE.AR PLAY ”.
