INCAA announced the return of the Raymundo Gleyzer contest

The National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) announced the resumption of the Federal Competitions for the Development of Feature Films Projects “Raymundo Gleyzer”.

The program aims to train new talents across the country and strengthen their developing projects.
With federal spirit, and now in virtual format, the contest is aimed at directors, producers and screenwriters who are on the path of producing their first and second feature films.

For five months, the 48 Winning projects will participate in virtual script clinics, direction and production, specially designed by the program; at the end of the clinics a jury will choose 12 projects that will be supported in their next production stages.

The Raymundo Gleyzer contest has been held since the year 2006 and takes 11 editions. In the course of its history, films such as Road July emerged (Gaspar Gomez, Mendoza - 2011), The boat (Sabrina White, CABA – 2019), Silence is a falling, (Agustina Comedi, Córdoba – 2018), The bums (Gustavo Biazzi, Missions - 2018), Bed (Mónica Lairana, CABA – 2018), A Gauchito Gil (Joaquín Pedretti, Currents - 2019), The bumbun (Fernando Bermudez, The Rioja - 2014), Atlantis (Inés María Barrionuevo, Córdoba – 2014), among other notable films of Argentine cinema, many of which participated in world-class international festivals.
