Newly way, the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) made the determination to extend its Thursday premiere program until the end of the year and thus guarantee a space for all those productions registered in the Calendar.

This Thursday, confirmed premieres are "The Master", by Cristina Tamagnini and Julián Dabien and "The Island of Lies" (co-production with Spain), by Paula Cons Varela.

As it happens every Thursday, the productions can be seen through the CINE.AR TV signal and the free Video on Demand platform CINE.AR Play. It is worth remembering that the application to integrate the Program is voluntary and must be initiated by national film producers through the INCAA Online system..

The projections can be seen on the CINE.AR TV signal, with a repeat on Saturday 16. further, from Friday 15, both films will be available on the CINE.AR PLAY platform, for seven days, exclusively and free.

"Teacher" (can be seen from 20) has the performances of Diego Velázquez, Ezequiel Tronconi, Ana Katz and Valentín Mayor.

The story revolves around a passionate teacher who will feel the rejection of the inhabitants of his town at the time of confirming his homosexuality. The parents of their students will not approve the teacher's behavior with another man and they harass the principal so that Natalio does not continue to lead the classroom.

Later, to 22, will begin "The island of lies", whose cast is made up of Nerea Barros, Aitor Luna, Darío Grandinetti, Victoria Teijeiro, Ana Oca, María Costas and Milo Taboada.

Located in the summer of 1921, the story is based on the 260 immigrants bound for Buenos Aires traveling on the Santa Isabel ship and sank off the coast of the island of Sálvora.

The only hope of the survivors who were struggling not to crash into the rocks were the few women, old and children who lived in this place. Three young islanders, Maria, Josefa and Cipriana, will decide to jump into the sea in a small rustic boat.
