INCAA restarts the program this Friday “Cinema in prisons”

The National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA), through the program "Cinema in prisons", will perform a function in the Penitentiary Unit No. 1 of Olmos of the film "Taking state", by Federico Sosa.

Activity, organized in conjunction with the Federal Penitentiary Service, will have a screen in the young adult pavilion of said unit, in which its director, Federico Sosa and one of its protagonists Sergio Podeley will present the film through videoconference.

After the show they will chat with the audience virtually, INCAA reported in a statement.

“Tomando estado” is one of the premieres of the week and tells the story of Carlos and Nicola, who work in the electric cooperative of a town in the interior in the midst of a crisis of 2001

The program "Cinema in prisons", from INCAA's Federal Development Deputy Manager, integrates the cinematographic exhibition to the activities of the Penitentiary Units throughout the country and seeks to accompany the policies of social inclusion and expansion of rights, understanding access to culture as an indispensable right for human development.
