INCAA reviewed a year of gender policies in the entity

Through a statement, the National Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) provided a review of the work carried out throughout the year on gender policies.

In this context, through his vice presidency, created the Diversity and Gender Area in January 2020 Y, since its formation, has carried out continuous work articulated with the Ministry of Women, Gender and Diversity of the Nation and the Ministry of Culture of the Nation.

This area was part of the inter-ministerial team for compliance with the Micaela Law and the Decree 721/2020 of Trans Labor Quota. INCAA is one of the first organizations to comply with this regulation, who is committed to following up, sensibilización y capacitación en conjunto con la Gerencia General, INCAA's Human Resources Deputy Management and the Diversity Undersecretariat of the Ministry of Women.

In a year of work, more than 40 dissemination activities, awareness and training from cycles and special screenings at Cine Ar Play, with talks with filmmakers from different parts of the country. Joint work agendas were established with various entities and organizations such as the Executive Committee against Trafficking in Persons, the Institute of Indigenous Affairs, the Institute of Afro Culture and secretaries of culture of different provinces.

The statement ends by announcing that among the objectives of 2021, are to strengthen ties with organizations and entities to promote and encourage diversity and gender policies.
