The Jumex Museum, one of the main cultural venues in Mexico, prepares for its reopening after a long absence due to the pandemic.

Hand in hand with "Normal exceptions: contemporary art in Mexico ", the popular venue will welcome the public again this Saturday 27 of March, with an exhibition that will remain open until mid-August.

The proposal has a thematic exhibition of the artistic production carried out in the Aztec country during the last 20 years. Made up mainly of works from the Jumex Collection, the sample will include pieces by artists and guest collaborators, occupying all the galleries of the museum with more than 60 works by artists based in Mexico, including those of foreign origin, and of Mexicans who live and work outside the country.

The museum rooms will recover their open architecture for this exhibition, which will allow the installation of large-scale conceptual works and ample natural light in the galleries.
