"The world, 18 dancers, a show” arrives for free at the San Martín Theater

Between June and July the Contemporary Dance Workshop will present the work of Federico Fontán, as part of a new dynamic in the training cycle.

"The world, 18 dancers, a show” in this way will be in the Alfredo Alcón Hall of the San Martín Theater (Avenida Corrientes 1530), on Friday 24, Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June and the first Friday, Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July at 18 hours, free admission.

With choreography and direction by Federico Fontán and music by Jiva Velázquez, the performers are all third-year students of the Contemporary Dance Workshop, integrated by Milena Arbo Damasco, Camila Arechavaleta, Martin de Victoria Travela, Joel Dylan Fernandez, Valentina Gauthier, Maria Jade Gorosito Satue, Carla He, Rosina Heldner, Nicholas Agustin Hernandez, Ludmila Insaurralde, Luca Octavio Loza Perez, Luz Aylen Mariani, Shaiel Abigail Ponce de Leon, Federica Salinas Wankiewicz, April Trinidad Vazquez, Vicente Manzoni, Giuliana Stagnani and Franco Martinetti.

From 2022, the Dance Workshop -directed by Norma Binaghi and co-directed by Damián Malvacio- a new dynamic begins in the training cycle. In this framework, choreographers are invited to create their own repertoire of works so that third-year students learn to be performers.. Participating in an assembly in a containment area thus gives them the initial kick and boosts their professional path.
