The Anne Frank Museum will reopen its doors to the public today
From today and every Saturday of 14 a 19 hs, you can revisit the Anne Frank Museum, with tours of 90 minutes to do individually or by group of cohabitants of up to 4 people.
Located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Coghlan, the museum will offer as part of the opening protocol, the opportunity to enter only by reserving and paying the entrance in advance. The value of the tickets will be 190 pesos the general, 160 for students, teachers or retirees. Children 10 years without charge.
The tour consists of a timeline that takes as its starting point the life of Anne Frank in the context of Nazism and the Holocaust. Then, the scenographic recreation of the Secret Annex is visited, unique in Latin America, place where Anne Frank hid with other 7 people, where the visitor can see a replica of the renowned newspaper.
Finally, the room is visited “From dictatorship to democracy, the validity of Human Rights”, in which it is proposed to reflect on the mechanisms and procedures of Nazism reflected in the last civic dictatorship- military in Argentina. You will also be able to visit the beautiful garden of the Center that has a sapling of the original chestnut tree to which Anne Frank wrote in her famous Diary. The tour will be in charge of a guide who will accompany the visitor throughout the visit.
