The Museum of Modern Art will be closed during June
The Museum of Modern Art in Buenos Aires closed its doors during the month of June for arrangements that include increased exhibition space, a bar, improved circulation and communication between rooms.
The work ranges from opening windows that allow natural light to a movement from the rear of the building with a point of conjunction in a new sculptural staircase that commands the route, as well as various meeting spaces between rooms.
Another thing that provides the architectural project is to integrate the whole structure of Modern, that is to say, building Avenue San Juan to 350 the building on the corner of Avenida San Juan and Defense, which it belonged to the Museum of Cinema.
While the museum is closed to the public, its heritage remains available for consultation in the library and on the Internet through its web digital collection (www.museomoderno.org) and on the platform Google Art Project (https://artsandculture.google.com/partner/museo-de-arte-moderno-de-buenos-aires-museo-moderno).
