The Cinema Museum will be part of the international celebration for Family Film Day, a traditional meeting dedicated to amateurism within the Seventh Art.

Online and from 17, the official site of the traditional venue located in the La Boca neighborhood will broadcast the meeting live (like from your YouTube channel) that has been held for more than 15 years.

This celebration aims to show amateur films, brought by the public, in which everyone actively participates in the exercise of recognizing years, places, events and infinity of familiar and foreign faces.

In that context, Family Movie Day means a journey through domestic life throughout the 20th century, where a fascinating universe of small everyday stories unfolds that allow us to remember and recognize through those close and strange images at the same time, last, that country always a little foreign.

For this edition, atypical for globally known health reasons, a selection of some of the best films that have passed through Family Movie Day over time will be screened, together with copies that are still almost unpublished.

The screenings will go, as usual, with a talk about the films and simple recommendations for their preservation will be given by specialists from the Buenos Aires Film Museum.
