With the possibility of downloading it in PDF format and totally free, the Museum of Natural Sciences of Santa Fe "Florentino Ameghino" has its first digital book.

As announced by the Culture area of ​​the Santa Fe province, this post, called "The collections of the Ameghino Museum and its importance in the education and research of the natural sciences", is aimed at all types of readers.

Total, there are eleven chapters that make up the realization that can be downloaded by doing Click here! and for its elaboration it had the participation of 24 Authors from various research and teaching institutions such as the National Institute of Limnology (UNC-UNL); the Center for Climate Variability and Change Studies (Fich); the Conicet-Uader Entomology Laboratory; the Museum of La Plata; the Ángel Gallardo Museum; the Natural History Museum of Montevideo; the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change of the Province of Santa Fe; departments of the Faculty of Humanities and Sciences (UNL); the INTA of Reconquista; the Center for Research on National Endemics, FBCB (UNL), together with the Ameghino Museum team.

According to the museum coordinator, Andrés Pautasso, “The pandemic forced us to reconfigure and redesign our entire museum plan planned to 2020, replacing activities of samples and interactive proposals in the space, to other proposals for our audiences in digital formats "and added: "The launch of the museum's new editorial line is part of the agenda adapted to this exceptional situation".

At the same time, the manager explained that this "is the first book, but not the only one, since before the end of the year we will have a new title, also in this format, that recounts the memories of the Ameghino Museum in its one hundred years of life; and we are already producing new materials that will be online in the first quarter of 2021 ".
