The MAR Museum brings together prominent photographers in an exhibition

The 8 January will open an exhibition with works by photographers Annemarie Heinrich, Ataúlfo Pérez Aznar and Alberto Goldenstein, curated by Andrés Duprat.

The National Museum of Fine Arts will present, from 8 from January, the exhibition "Three looks over Mar del Plata", composed of a selection of photographs by Annemarie Heinrich, Ataúlfo Pérez Aznar and Alberto Goldenstein, that can be seen in the MAR Museum (Museum of contemporary art of the Province of Buenos Aires), from Mar del Plata, until June.

Curated by the director of the Fine Arts, Andrés Duprat, This exhibition is organized together with the Ministry of Culture of the Nation and the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires, with the sponsorship of the National Fund for the Arts and the support of the German Embassy in Buenos Aires and Amigos del Bellas Artes.

The exhibition brings together three unique views, lucid and significant about the city of Mar del Plata at different moments of its historical evolution: the years 50, by Annemarie Heinrich; the decade of 80, by Ataúlfo Pérez Aznar; and the 2001, por Alberto Goldenstein.

"Each one of the series," says Duprat, portrays aspects of daily life in Mar del Plata, although unfailingly, still without trying, They have key moments in Argentine history as background: Social tourism promoted by the first Peronism in the years 40 Y 50 and the visibility of the working class (Heinrich); the passage from dictatorship to democracy in the years 80 (Perez Aznar), and the political and economic crisis of 2001 (Goldenstein).”

“The set of photographs by these three artists reveals the metamorphosis of the city, transformations of the urban landscape and changes in social customs. But nevertheless, it also allows us to verify the continuities, the unalterable, that which manages to pass time as the geographical invariables: the beach and the sea ", add curator.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Culture of the Nation, Tristan Bauer, think: "Those who attend the exhibition will contemplate these works that reflect the views and sensitivity of the authors and the author, and I'm sure when they get out of there, leaving the museum behind and plunging back into the city, they will rediscover it, they will see her with new eyes, they will evoke those past and modify their perception of the present thanks to the lived experience ".

After the inauguration, the exhibition can be visited from 9 January at the MAR Museum headquarters, located in Av. Felix U. Chams & Lopez de Gomara, Mar del Plata, from Tuesday to Sunday, of 15 a 21, with free admission and advance reservation of shifts through the website: https://www.gba.gob.ar/museomar.
