The Roca Museum presents a photography workshop for the little ones

“Photographs that inspire” in the name of the new children's workshop presented by the Roca Museum and which proposes to disseminate illustration from old photographic pieces.

Oriented to children between 6 Y 12 years, the workshop is free (You just have to make a previous online registration) and you can enjoy this Saturday 27 March from 18 (in case of bad weather it goes to Sunday at the same time).

During the meeting, participants will illustrate from old photographs, Guided by the workshop participant through a collection of images from the 19th and early 20th centuries, in which landscapes are observed, rural and urban, public buildings and social actors that starred in the history of the country. The images of the past of a different Argentina in constant transformation will be explored. The presentation of the photographs will be accompanied by a brief introduction on the history of the country in those years.

With the guidance of the guest workshop leader Fernanda Crovetto and the Education team of the Roca Museum, Participants will explore different drawing and painting techniques to recreate illustrations from the photograph of their choice. Then, they will be able to take them home to share them with the family.
