"Tres" is the name of the recent record work of the Argentine musician Marcelo Mapelman, that can already be heard through digital platforms.

It is the third work of the musician, composed of ten songs created by the drummer, pianist and producer Marcelo Mapelman, recorded between his own studio and in Monsterland -where he recorded the batteries-, and mixed and mastered by Mario Breuer.

As for the band that accompanied the musician, Lucas Sangari is on guitars, Ramiro Agudelo on bass, Juan Manuel Botello on keyboards, María Paula Leiva and Román Peusner on cello and violin respectively, Camila Teodori in voices, y el músico rosarino Ignacio Arigós para cantar a dúo la canciónTenés que parar”.

Mapelman explained that the songs "arose from spontaneous composition, looking for chords on the piano and adjusting them to a drum beat that felt fluid, testing the combination of chords and different speeds for the rhythm ”. In that sense he added: "When I saw that it took the form of a song, I was completing them with instruments, vocal melodies and finally I incorporated the lyrics, all in the same session ”.

Born in the City of Buenos Aires, Mapelman integrated Los Pulgones, band with which he recorded two albums and appeared on various stages. He was also part of La Puñalada Amistosa (integrated by Gabriel Carámbula, Juanse and Pappo), the Dickinson Power Trio and the Pilo Band -where he shared shows with guest musicians such as Charly Garcia, Bernard Fowler (Showgirl of the Rolling Stones) y Jimmy Rip (guitarist and producer for Mick Jagger), among others-.

His solo debut was in 2013, with the output of “Filigrana” and later edited, in 2015, "Wayward" - shortlisted for the Gardel Awards-.
