The musician and composer Leandro Ba presents "UNE", his new EP
"UNE" is the name of the brand new EP that the singer and composer Leandro Ba has just presented and which is now available on all digital platforms.
The work is composed of five songs, four of them original plus a version of a theme by the great José Larralde (“Yesterday's shed”).
In “UNE”, Ba intersects genres and textures, proposing a journey through folk, rock and electronic components, like synthesizers, raw drums and smooth nylon guitars.
Asked about his influences, Leandro Ba refers to regional folklore, with artists like Caetano Valoso, national and electronic folklore as The Whitest Boy Alive.
“A” is, also, the third record work of the musician but of his first proposal as a soloist, composer and author.
Regarding his new work, Ba stated that “it briefly and genuinely gathers my integral identity, as a way of feeling and expressing my record of the world through music ". The artist added that this EP "is the result of a creative process in search of my personal language".
Para Ba, "This compositional work of lyrics and music, It results from the process of dialogue between the sounds of the melodies and rhythms that open paths to the appearance of images and words., that's how songs appear until they express that way of perceiving the universe and my environment ".
Regarding the composition of the songs, the musician indicated that “most of the time my works are born from a sound loop that is presented to me and that, usually, I translate it into the expressive voice of the guitar, in the first instance. There the rhythmic begins to be defined and then the words that form ideas emerge.. It is a kind of rhythmic-melodic thought ".
