Marcos Martínez's latest documentary arrives at the Gaumont Complex
"Dreams", the recent documentary by the director Marcos Martínez confirmed its premiere for Thursday 27 January at the Gaumont cinema.
This documentary marks a choral portrait of the dream world of people living on the streets in the City of Buenos Aires.
In that context and through dreams, the veil of daily reality is being torn apart until it reaches the intimacy of people who live in a state of invisibility for a large part of society.
Martínez, in this realization, reflects the difficult past and present, also somehow his future, appear in the stories of your dreams. A vivid reflection of a city with historical social exclusion.
According to Martínez, "The film proposes an exercise in listening, to accompany cinematically the story of each of the dreams. Bet on the power of the story and attentive listening. And in this way ensure that each viewer enters that world and is impregnated with the dream reality ".
The director stated that he sought “for the City of Buenos Aires as a wide setting for the film to also become the protagonist of the story.. Through accompanying the protagonists in their daily activities, a little-known part of the big city is discovered, that presents a particular dynamic produced by people living on the streets to survive day by day ".
