"The Godfather III" will return with several tweaks and a different ending
Close to being fulfilled 30 years of its launch, "The Godfather III" (The Godfather III) –Film that marks the closing of the story created by Francis Ford Coppola and Mario Puzo- will return to the big screen in a fully restored version and a few more surprises.
What kind of surprises? Namely, This trilogy has two fully praised parts, by critics and fans alike. But nevertheless, the third and last story never quite convinced them both, reason why Paramount Pictures decided to take action on the matter.
In that context, as detailed from the film giant, the story will return with several scene tweaks and that includes a totally different beginning and ending. As for its title it will be "The Godfather. Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone”.
According to what was stated by Coppola, with these modifications (also added to the restored sound) it will be "a more appropriate conclusion for 'The Godfather' and 'The Godfather II'".
The film originally premiered in the United States a 20 from December to 1990, exactly 16 years after the first and successful first part. Al Pacino (Michael Corleone) led the cast that also featured Andy Garcia, Sofia Coppola, Talia Shire, Joe Mantegna, Bridget Fonda and George Hamilton, among others.
