A new month began and with it, the extension of the Thursday Premiere program proposed by the Institute of Cinema and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA); this time with "Tide and wind" and "Those who return".

First, "Tide and wind" (It can be seen from the 20) is a documentary made by Ulises de la Orden; while "Those who return" (22 hours), is a feature film directed by Laura Casabé and awarded in the Argentine Competition of the last Mar del Plata International Film Festival.

Both productions will be screened on Cine.ar TV this Thursday, with a repeat on Saturday 3. Starting Friday 2, both films will be available on the CINE.AR PLAY platform, for seven days, exclusively and free.

In his documentary, de la Orden portrays the course of a year in the experimental school "Los Biguá" in the Argentine Delta. It is another way of thinking about education in a situation of permanent alert.

Ulysses of the Order (Buenos Aires, 1970) is a director strongly rooted in stories related to the environment, to indigenous peoples and to the most urgent social and political issues. His feature films are: "Upstream" (2006), "Inland" 2011), "Green Desert" (2013), "Whole Woman" (2015), “Chaco” (2017), "Dawn in my land" and "New mind" (both of 2019). This year he premiered “Vilca, the magic of silence " (2020). "Tide and wind" (2020) it's his last job.

On the other hand, "Those who return" is a horror story headed by Lali González, Alberto calls, Maria Soldi, Javier Drolas, Cristian Salguero, Edgardo Castro and Sebastián Aquino.

The plot is located in 1919, moment when the Guarani have died, deserted or were reduced to servitude. In that context, Julia, the wife of a landowner, gives birth to a third dead child. She will beg her Guarani maid to bring him back to life. The creature returns. But it doesn't come back alone.

Laura Casabe, director and screenwriter. His first feature film, “The good fairy, a peronist fable” in 2010 was self-financed; and in the 2017, with the support of INCAA, filmed “Benavidez's suitcase”. He has participated in festivals such as: Bafici, Sitges, FrightFest, Sanfic, Bifff, Guadalajara among others. "Those who return" his latest production, participated in the Argentine Competition of the last edition of the Mar del Plata International Film Festival (2019), winning the awards for Best Photography, Best Music and the RECAM Award for the Best Work of Mercosur.
