The Quinquela Martín will celebrate its Campfire of San Juan in a virtual way
The traditional celebration of the San Juan Bonfire that the Benito Quinquela Martín Museum carries out every year will be held virtually, faced with the well-known situation of social and compulsory isolation.
In this way, and with the intention of linking the widest sectors of the community with each other, with heritage and with its collective memory, the traditional boquense enclosure prepares to celebrate, once again, the luminous symbolic heritage that identifies it.
As explained from the organization, the current context of quarantine "will not prevent us from remembering the old bonfires of San Juan and keeping the spirit of the celebration alive, where exactly I find, the company and the construction in common reunited the wishes of all the neighbors ”.
To be part of the celebration, Those interested will have to write their wishes and build their own doll with the elements they have in their homes.. With the sum of the photos of messages and productions related to this event that the Museum receives, will make a doll that represents them, which will virtually catch fire this Saturday 27 June in a live projection that will be replicated by the Museum's networks.
Once the wishes are written and the doll is assembled for the celebration of the Bonfire of San Juan, The photo must be sent through the following email: communication.mbqm@gmail.com or by WhatsApp at: +54911 691 4455.
