Noted actor James Caan, known for his work in "The Godfather" or "Misery", several other; passed away at 82 years.

The sad news was released through his family through a notification on the actor's official account., where the causes of death were not reported.

Caan rose to fame for his excellent work as Santino “Sonny” Corleone in “The Godfather” trilogy. Owner of a strong personality, his character was gunned down at a toll booth in Francis Ford Coppola's brilliant story.

This interpretation led him to be nominated for the Oscar Awards in the category "Best Supporting Actor", although later he did not get the award.
