The Argentine film "Theft of the century", directed by Ariel Winograd and starring Guillermo Francella and Diego Peretti, won the award for Best Latin American Production at the Begur Costa Brava International Film Festival, from Spain.

Luis Luque, Pablo Rago, Rafael Ferro and Mariano Argento complete the leading cast of the most watched film of the year in Argentina, produced by AZ Films, MarVista Entertainment, ViacomCBS International Studios (VIS) and Telefe.

With comic trims, the film recreates the mythical assault of the 13 of January of 2006 to the Acassuso branch of Banco Río.

That day five thieves entered with toy guns, and while they cheated on bank employees, clients and police making them believe that it was an ordinary hostage-taking assault, they emptied the safes and escaped through a hole that they painstakingly dug over several months.
