The successful one-man show “Romance del baco y la vaca” starring and directed by Marco Antonio Caponi will return to the stage in September.

The play will be on Thursdays 1, 8, 15 Y 22 September at 20.30 and also on saturdays 3, 17 Y 24 of that month, starting at 20 in Dumont 4040.

Written by Gonzalo Demaria, this staging won the ACE Award for Best Actor and also had the Luisa Vehil award for Best Direction. He also received three nominations for the Trinidad Guevara Awards..

Until now, the return of “Romance del baco y la vaca” had four completely sold-out presentations. Tickets can be obtained at the venue located in Santos Dumont 4040 or through Alternative Theater.

As for the story, the plot is narrated in gaucho verb, where the most distinctly Argentine rural tradition mixes with the Greek epic and the blues.

Within that context, the sound universe created by this gaucho with his humble “viola´e lata” made with garbage remains and his prodigious and disturbed memory, will immerse the viewer in images and landscapes with humor and delirious situations, like your true love story.
