Mendoza en Casa and Canal Acequia premiere a special of the show "Elena Roger celebrates María Elena Walsh" together with the Philharmonic Orchestra.

As a closure of the Mendoza Winter Holidays cycle 2021, the Argentine singer recognized in the world, Elena Roger performed at the Teatro Independencia, together with the Provincial Orchestra with a tribute to the poet. It was composed of songs for children and adults.

The special covers the most endearing themes of the author such as: The kingdom upside down, Gardener's Song, The Valley and the Volcano, Like the cicada and of course, could not miss, Manuelita.

Between 29 and the 31 July this show was presented, Theater in Independence. Days before the premiere, the tickets were sold out, so many people were left wanting to see it. Because, next Saturday it will be broadcast so that everyone can enjoy it.

The concert was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Mendoza and the Wine Fund and, during the three nights, counted with the ovation of the public.

The exquisite material from which this show emerged - and the subsequent special, that will premiere next Saturday- It is part of a project that Elena Roger and the Escalandrum group presented in February 2020 and with which they obtained five nominations for the Gardel Awards, among which are Record of the Year, Best Concept Album and Best Children's Album.
