This Friday 21 In January the Cervantes National Theater will begin its season again on the esplanade of the National Library, with the presentation of "King Kong Theory".

Written by Virginie Despentes, in Alejandro Maci's version, this proposal will be presented in four independent and interdependent shows, that seek to capture some of the essential topics that Despentes addresses in the book.

The first of those shows will be “Porno Brujas”, which features a performance by Eleonora Wexler, under the direction of Corina Fiorillo.

In the "King Kong Theory", Despentes acidly analyzes the concessions that women themselves tend to make in the face of sexist demands and encourages women to embark on their own path, like the one that -long ago- claimed Virginia Woolf in her classic "A Room of One's Own".

with free entry (two are delivered per person via Alternativa), the functions will be this Friday and Saturday from 22, and on Sunday from 21.30. The play will be presented again on Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 February.

The rest of the shows that make up this approach to the text are:
