"The last coffee concert" and the journey through one hundred years of Argentine history

This Friday will debut at La Biblioteca Café "The last coffee concert ... 100 years of Argentine history", the musical theatrical show devised and created by Alejandro Veroutis.

With performances on Fridays and Sundays of the month, the work will go through tried moments lived in the local scene through songs, in a show starring Veroutis himself with Edith Margulis and musician Simon Martins.

The show coincides with the reopening of La Biblioteca Café, the traditional porteño enclosure located on Marcelo T de Alvear 1155, designated as "the last living coffee concert in Buenos Aires" by a theatrical journalist.

El último café concert…100 años de historia argentinarecorre el siglo pasado y los 20 first years of this new century in a little more than an hour of musical show through tango songs, milongas, ballads and all the musical genres that excelled throughout a century.

Some songs that were censored at the time, As well as musical pearls that still reflect the spirit of a country with twists and turns amid some political storms will be enjoyed in the magical setting of La Biblioteca Café.
