On Sunday 25 October the meeting of thermofusion and embroidery will take place, activity proposed by the Museum of the History of Costume through its official Instagram account (@museodeltrajeba).

This activity is part of the cycle "Shared Knowledge", meeting that proposes contact with artists, designers and artisans who tell about their work and propose to carry out a joint activity.

In that context, This new format will seek to expand the limits of the public of the traditional venue, beyond face-to-face visits, as well as having guests from different parts of the country generating a proposal of federal scope.

Those who participate in the workshop will be able to learn to merge, through heat, different types of flat plastic materials generating, plots, collages and surfaces that will later be intervened with embroidery.

To follow this activity, It is necessary to have the following materials:

Plastic bags and/or plastic containers of any product

Butter paper

Iron

Scissors, permanent marker, ream blades, pencil.

embroidery threads, needles of different thicknesses (depends on the thickness that they have made by thermofusing)

tracing paper

Styrofoam tray.
