Fields, who in 2018 He launched “Roto” -su primer disco de tangos por el cual fue nominado a los Premios Gardel y a los Latin Grammys- usually shows in his presentations the coexistence between poetry and music.

Campos defines himself as a “militant of causes related to gender identity”. In his artistic search he aspires to break with the stereotypes "with which we usually catalog and classify music and writing".

"This is my seventh book of poetry and it is an important book because I feel it marks a new chapter in the way I write.", argued the author who added: "I think the poems in this book are different from what I did before. I'm getting more concise, synthetic and less baroque. From 2018 I started to compose songs and that totally changed my creative approach in the procedural and emotional. I like to think of this new stage as an artistic evolution in the writing of my poetry and songs ”.

Throughout his career Campos published "The ages of a monster" (Cuttlefish bones, 2009), "One and all possible" (Paradiso, 2011), "The moment in your mouth" (Mansalva, 2012), "Eternal just for him" (Mansalva, 2016), "Today is far away" (Iván Rosado, 2016) and "The darkness allows them" (Mansalva, 2018). For this last reason, he received a special mention in the National Literature Awards of the 2019. He also published poems in various national and international magazines such as "Hablar de Poesía", "The Banquet" and "The Poet and his Work".
