Driven out, one of the most representative bands punk rock of the local scene, prepares to celebrate the 20 years after the release of their debut album; self-titled album also will be relaunched in its vinyl edition.

These things, and a few days after the concert to be held in El Teatrito (3 of August), The sidewalk He spoke with Sebastian Expelled, lead singer. The musician said that "Expelled used to rehearse a lot and, in each test, half the time we played together and the other half speak because we share a friendship beyond music, "adding: "That makes it possible to project what we want to do in advance and give a good show to come to us".

What did it mean to you that first record?

Having a first album felt a reward for the long road that had traveled to reach it. It was not easy and that meant a double satisfaction when we got it.

From the album, was less heavy wearing band forward. We started opening doors and we were able to focus more musically. I think it was a positive break from that side.

Making a trip back in time, What do you remember of the time before recording this album?

There was almost 10 previous years of a lot of effort before releasing the first album. In that period we recorded 3 demos, a first disc with another training never left, and songs compiled. We played where we left plug equipments; in places, pizzerias, houses friends…anywhere.

We had to pamphlet and distribute the demos in record stores. There were many experiences and the sum of all made us who we are today. We never forget where we come from or even people on the road gave us their support. Having today loyal fans and music have come with them, It is all for Expelled.

It has long been the release of that album, but I try it today completely surprises may cause some issues that could have been forgotten over the years. In that context, and when asked about details that even surprised that album, Sebastian said that "a brick contributed to what, today, is one of the styles that number of bands running in Argentina. He expelled always turned a lot around the country and there is no place that does not have bands "Ramoneras". The disc is a link in the great chain is already much more than we imagined to record ".

How do you see the local rock punk scene today?

We see very active at a difficult time for music and the arts in general. The number of bands is always increasing and style diversifies. There are very good bands but not many channels which can be heard. Media like this, which I take this opportunity to thank you for your support, are exceptions to the rule. Networks can serve those purposes but is a bottleneck for proposals. So I think it is necessary that the bands return to "abc" to reach people. Bring your material shows style and make direct contact with those who will hear another band, panfletear, together with other bands to generate moved…what he used to and was losing.

How would you define the public that follows them through the years?

We come to see people of all kinds. We make no difference and all have a place. Is mostly people who enjoy music. New generations come with their parents and see those little punk rock will keep beating when we are no longer.

The people who follow us there is always a very great affection. And they travel to bring flags everywhere. They know that they are also Expelled.

For fans and curious sound of the band, What would be the invitation to the show?

3 August in Teatrito. Expelled invites you to a tour of eastern jungles where redoubling drums to the rhythm of rock and punk melodies float spirits at night.
