Within the framework of the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI), “Era Perú House” will be presented, an intimate and moving story that captures life in confinement in a Buenos Aires building during the COVID-19 pandemic. 2020.

Director Marcos Martínez will immerse the public in the unique experience of “Perú House”, where cell phone cameras become privileged witnesses of the daily life of its inhabitants. Between WhatsApp messages, memes are just that, A community emerges that finds its best defense against the challenges that lie ahead in hilarious everyday life..

With a duration of 26 minutes, This 'found footage' style documentary invites us to reflect on the identity of the Buenos Aires middle class in times of crisis, exploring how joy and the festive intertwine with the tragic and the unexpected.

Marcos Martínez, renowned filmmaker, producer and photographer, proposes a cinematographic journey marked by its deep sensitivity and its ability to capture the human essence in its rawest state. With a career that includes acclaimed works such as “Estrellas” and “Sueños”, Martínez demonstrates once again his mastery in direction, guiding the viewer through the most intimate corners of “Perú House”.

The world premiere of “Era Perú House” will be during the traditional festival, within the Places Section [25]. Performances are scheduled for Friday 19 April at 22:10 hours and Sunday 21 from 15:10 at the Cacodelphia Cinema 3.
