Featured vocalist Eric Martin, one of the founding members of the American hard rock group Mr.. Big, he returned to Argentina where he met his fans again at El Teatrito.

Visibly enthusiastic and energetic with the public, the singer kicked off the South American leg of his tour, which also includes stops in Chile and Brazil (Uruguay was previously scheduled, but it was canceled at the last minute).

At 62 years the musician showed why he is one of the most recognized within the genre, being together with his band one of the high points of the music scene of the late '80s and early '90s.

On this occasion Martin was accompanied by a band made up of the Argentines Ruido Barilari (low) and Anna Flugel (choirs) and the Chileans Ignacio “Long Fingers” Torres (guitar) and Felipe Cortes (drums).

Minutes after 21.30 the musician came on stage giving away the first two classics taken from the brilliant album “Lean into it” (1991): “Daddy, brother, lover and little boy” y “Alive & Kickin´”, an auspicious start that aroused the warmth of the people and that served to overcome some sound problems that caused laughter and even some jokes by the vocalist.

Martin toured all the times of Mr.. Big, even classics that were recorded together with Richie Kotzen, as "Superfantastic", “Shine” o “Electrified”.

The vocalist also had time to show his skills with the acoustic guitar, instrument used during several passages, with high points in “The Chain”, “Wild world” o dos de los grande clásicos de Mr. Big and perhaps two of the greatest ballads of the genre such as "Just take my heart" and "To be with you".

About this, the musician explained that Paul Gilbert was essential during the years they toured with Mr.. Big. “I always shared the room with him, maybe the others didn't want me around.", he said between laughs.

Reaching the end, the singer dispatched with "Take cover", “Addicted to that rush” y “Colorado Bulldog”, thus completing a list of topics made up of 15 songs that perhaps fell a little short due to the wait that the public had to see the artist again after the stoppage due to the pandemic.

Grateful to your audience, the musician said goodbye stating that it was just a "see you later", leaving the venue with nostalgia and the desire to find it again, this time with his old fellow travelers once again.
