"Signar complexity" is the name of the most recent virtual exhibition that the Pla Space carries out next to the Pavilion of Fine Arts of the UCA, under the curatorship of Merlina Rañi.

This exhibit, that opens on friday 4 of this month, brings together the work of Diego Alberti, Elisa Balmaceda and Renee Charmichael.

As the curatorial text explains, “The interface is proposed from a conceptual diagram in which the exhibited pieces are placed according to their affinity with the axes, that offer different routes ".

In this framework and from “the organization of the route in a graphic diagram, to the themes and content of the pieces, it deals with the issue of complexity as a perspective and as a paradigm of the present day ".

In this way, this is how “through the different pieces an agenda is proposed in which each artist presents their concerns, but also ways of facing and covering the complexity that these present, strategies that from artistic thought, they attempt a personal and meaningful approach on issues that go beyond the human scale ".

The viewer will be able to interact with topics such as energy, financial abstraction, the pandemic, colonialism and globalization or computer code, some of the axes of this proposal.
