These were all the winners of a new edition of ARFECINE
The seventh edition of the International Religious Film Festival ended (ARFECINE), that for the first time had its realization via streaming.
The closing ceremony was led by Lorena Cancela and had the words of the Director General of ARFECINE, Pablo De Vita.
The delivery began with the words of Rabbi Graciela Grynberg announcing the Lifetime Achievement Award, which from this edition will be renamed the Norberto Padilla Award, and that it was received and thanked with firm emotion by Gloria Williams de Padilla. There were also words from two entities that have supported this Festival. On the one hand, Juan Carlos Murillo spoke on behalf of UNHCR-UN. And later Isabel Gatti did the same, President of Argentina Signs.
Finally, each of the three members of the Official Jury was communicating the winners. The President of the Jury, Belgian critic Guido Convents announced the Grand Prize for Best Film for “Devi, the prince of the miniature " (Devi, prince of miniatures, Poland) dirigida see Mariusz Orski.
For his part, the Uruguayan critic and programmer of the Punta del Este Jewish Film Festival Alejandro Yamgotchian, he had to announce the Special Mention for Best Screenplay, which was included in the film “Thirty Towns” (“Thirty Peoples”, Brazil) directed by Zeca Brito.
Finally - although announced first in the broadcast via streaming- Rosario critic Ricardo Randazzo reported that the Mention for Best Photography was for the film "La casa de Wannsee" (Argentina) by Poli Martínez Kaplun.
