debuts Limbo, first web series created by Spanish and Argentine
“Limbo”, Suspenseful web series with supernatural touches, told in full through the screens of the computers and cell phones of a Spanish and an Argentine who contact each other by video call, can be seen on Playz, the digital content platform of Radio Televisión Española (RTVE).
The miniseries developed directly for the web and available for free also in Argentina, is composed of eight episodes of 7 minutes and is the first production of this format in all of Latin America made with Spain.
Produced by the Argentine Cruz del Sur CINE and the Spanish Here and There Films, "Limbo" is written by Nicolás Britos ("Kryptonite", "The dead man tells his story") and directed by Fabián Forte ("The corporation", "Partners by accident").
Told from the point of view of different screens, the plot revolves around Lidia (the Spanish Ingrid García Jonsson) y Wally (the Argentine Demián Salomón), to whom the Spanish actor Eloy Azorín joins.
"Limbo" takes advantage of the technological resources that enable communication today, and uses them to introduce the viewer into a universe of paranormal appearance.
Lidia bought the house in the mountains of Madrid that belonged to Wally before he returned to live in Argentina and she contacts him online to ask for the key to the door of a room that he cannot access.
With the running of video calls, messages and emails, they start to fall in love, but everything will change tone when she claims that she can hear other people who seem to inhabit the house in secret and that Wally can even later see through her screen.
That house, fictionally located in Madrid but actually located in Buenos Aires, where the series was recorded in its entirety last January, for the director Fabián Forte he works as "the fourth character in the plot".
