Urban Study opened the registration for the call “The neighborhood sounds”

The General Directorate of Music of the City together with Estudio Urbano began with the call "Suena el Barrio", the music project helper tool, for recording, development and dissemination, with the support of UNESCO's International Fund for Cultural Diversity.

Will be selected 10 projects that can record a song professionally, spread your music through the social networks of Estudio Urbano and other media, receive advice for management and artistic production and be trained to make your own video clip.

They will also have the possibility to be part of the recitals programmed by Estudio Urbano and work together with the lighting workshops, visuals for live music, photography of recitals and audiovisual production.

Musical projects of all kinds can participate, bands, soloists, of any genre or format that develop their activity in any of the neighborhoods mentioned below:

"Culture is much more than entertainment, its social function is enormous when it comes to thinking about a society. From this call we hope that several young artists from the City, can find motivations and tools to help them realize their wishes and projects. From our place, we have the obligation to work so that all people have the necessary resources to develop their discipline ", expressed the Minister of Culture of the City, Enrique Avogadro.
