Celebrations for Independence Day at Usina del Arte

As part of the celebration for Independence Day, Usina del Arte will carry out a program full of cultural activities for the whole family.

They can be enjoyed for free throughout the day on Saturday (of 11 a 20 hours). Among the proposals are musical shows, talks, workshops and gastronomy.

Throughout the afternoon there will be art workshops for boys and girls: creating blank paper rosettes, light blue and yellow, Manual pottery creation of pots for locro. Patriotic Karaoke for the whole family, with folk and popular songs.

Starting at noon there will be "A colonial story", musical show about colonial life for boys and girls. At 15 Copla Colores will be presented, a show that revalues ​​our traditions through songs, body percussion, movement and games that invite you to travel through our country and Latin America through music.

Later it will be the turn of the workshop Adventures between books (16.30), a storytelling show-workshop by Vale Rodríguez from Proyecto VaiVén. At 17 in “Degustá Usina” Marcela Rienzo will present “Chin Chin”, a book with data, anecdotes, examples, tips and lots of stories with a tasting and wine tasting.

Continuing with the music scene, from 18 Maxi Pachecoy will be live, who will present “The secret”, his latest album with airs of fresh and innovative folklore. Added to a repertoire of emblematic songs from our popular songbook, that he will carry out together with the members of Todos Hace Música.

The day will end with Micaela Chauque, who will celebrate their 20 years on stage from 19.

She is an outstanding artist from Jujuy who displays Andean music, transporting the public to the mountains and their ceremonies, through the voice of the copla, the wind sounds of quenas and sikus, reinforced with sounds of nature and synthesizers, supported by a solid musical band and dancers on stage.
