Festival Cine Latinoamericano Rosario is about to celebrate its edition 25 Y, for the meeting it will be carried out between the 7 and the 15 of September, The jury has already selected the short films that will be part of the competition.

This is the film event of the Santa Fe city and in fact the numbers have validated this title because for this edition were enrolled 720 short films which, 61 They were selected for the Official Competition and compete for the Best Short Film Festival and the Best Short Film by genre (documentary film, fiction, animation and experimental).

The competition was formed with productions of Mexico, Argentina, Cuba, Brazil, Uruguay, Dominican Republic, Colombia, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Chile, Guatemala and Paraguay. Rosarinos are six short films participating in the official competition works nine film schools.

It should be noted that official short film competition will be in Cairo Public Theater. On the other hand, other venues that make up the festival are the Monumental Complex, Village Cinemas, Cines del Centro, Museum of Memory, Municipal Astronomic Complex and School for Animators.

Competition is comprised Rosarina 19 short films that will compete for the award for Best Short Film rosarino, while 27 works will compete for the Best Short Film Award in the category Schools Film Competition. Both sections can be seen in the Monumental Cinema.

The festival is organized by the Rosario Audiovisual Center of the Ministry of Culture and Education of the Municipality of Rosario and has the support of the Government of Santa Fe and INCAA.

During this meeting a schedule of excellence that includes films will be presented premiere, training, lectures and special sections.
