From this Friday until Sunday 4 July, CELCIT will hold “Fiesta!! Independent Theater on the Net ”, your online proposal with free access.

The work that will kick off the cycle is "The Trial", written and directed by Johan Velandia and starring Rafael Zea, Santiago Alarcón and César Álvarez from the company La Congregación (Colombia)

This proposal revolves around the story of three elderly women who belong to an aerobics group in the Santo Domingo neighborhood., a commune of Medellín.

In that context, the protagonists will meet for a rehearsal that will reveal the deep bonds of friendship between the three old women and their children named Juan Carlos.

The Congregation is a company from Bogotá, formed by Velandia in 2005 which was born in order to create a research space for artists from different disciplines (theater, dance, music, audiovisual) that they dialogue from their languages ​​on current topics of social interest, political and cultural, building a dynamic stage vocabulary, changing, agile and multi-significant.

It is worth noting that this CELCIT proposal was born as a result of the postponement of the festivities for the 45 years of the entity, as a result of the advance of the pandemic. In this way "Party!”Will run until 8 of August.
