This Friday 8 July will close the exhibition "Green and Black", shows that the artist Florencia Böhtlingk carries out in the Hache gallery.

Under the curatorship of Santiago Villanueva, this exhibition has been the second individual one in charge of the artist.

“Green and Black” presents recent works by Böhtlingk , who mixes landscape and street, militancy and nature. In that context, the landscapes of Misiones appear, this time, stripped of story; in the limbo of the palette itself, no comment.

In the series of marches (8M, 24M, trans coupon), the artist transfers something of the constructive spirit with which she has been working on landscape for many years, to the mix of people and slogans, that inevitably bring an air of seventies constructive muralism, especially the work of Juan Manuel Sánchez.

Within this framework, something new appears that contrasts with the idea of the concretion of the political ideal from the flight to nature, as was the case of the relationship between the landscape in Carlos Giambiagi, to the urgent and concrete claim, that can't wait. Almost two beats simultaneously, but without differences, two accompanying tenses, and that are possible thanks to that limbo.

To enjoy the last day of this sample, the schedule is from 14 a 19 in the enclosure located on Loyola 32, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Crespo.
