On Sunday 26 March will be the deadline to appreciate the exhibition “Figurines. Soccer Appearances in Argentine Art”, that in November successfully presented the National House of the Bicentennial (CNB).

Curated by Jesu Antuña, Joaquín Barrera and Marcos Krämer. It can be visited until 26 March 2023, This exhibition proposes to delve into the link between football, sport par excellence of the country, with the visual arts.

Within that context, the viewer will be able to experience the crossing of the popular with the tragedy, the sacred and the exacerbation of passions; as well as the relationship between the image of the football idol and the construction of celebrity, fame and stardom.

This relationship proposed by the traditional Buenos Aires venue is explored through photographs, installations, paintings, sculptures and videos belonging to more than 40 artists.

The exhibition can be visited in Riobamba 985, Wednesday to Sunday from 15 a 20 hours.
