With a significant number of works, the contest for theatrical texts "Power and Politics" ended., promoted by the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation.

With a significant number of materials received, the deadline for receipt of works in the competition for original and unpublished theatrical texts that address the objectives expressed in the preamble of the National Constitution concluded.

In the contest, organized by the General Directorate of Culture of the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation, Two hundred and twenty-nine works were received from authors from all the provinces of the country, which, within the framework of contextualizing the objectives stated in the Preamble, addressed the most varied topics.

The evaluation of the works received is in the hands of Mariela Asensio (CABA), Elena Bossi (Jujuy), Gladis gomez (Chaco), Raul Brambilla (CABA) and Mauricio Kartun (CABA), who for two months will dedicate this arduous task, after which they will announce the results and the awards will be made, which includes the edition of the six winning works.

This initiative aims to inaugurate an area of ​​exchange with the artistic community of the country. In this first edition, invited to revisit and reflect on the values ​​and goals that make up the legislative and political program of our country, like the national union, peace, the order, Justice, common defense, the general welfare and the protection of the freedom of those who inhabit Argentine soil, displaying a range rich in diversity of points of view, in light of its contextualization.
