Fito Páez announced an extensive tour of the 30 years of his historic album

Upon completion 30 years of the emblematic album "Love after love", Fito Páez announced a tour that will take him to different national and international destinations during the rest of the year and in 2023.

The announcement occurs in coincidence with the release of the renowned album, that throughout this time continues to be the best-selling in the history of national rock, with a figure that far exceeds one million one hundred thousand copies in physical format (number that was known on the 20th anniversary of the plate).

On the other hand, the artist from Rosario also confirmed the re-recording of the same, with the idea of ​​“transforming, visit him again and do new things”, as announced in a press release.

For this reason, the musician will travel to Los Angeles in August, accompanied by Gustavo Borner and Diego Olivero, who will work with him on the recording.

As for the tour, only the first destinations were announced, as the Plaza de la Música in the city of Córdoba, then arriving at the stage of the Movistar Arena in Buenos Aires. The concerts will begin during the second fortnight of September.

Later, the tour will continue through Latin America touring Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Paraguay, Venezuela, Colombia, Costa Rica, Santo Domingo, United States and Spain.

“Love after love” was Rosario's seventh studio album. It went on sale on June 1st. 1992 and from that moment it was unstoppable. The songs on that album mark an entire era in national rock and it was a turning point for Páez's career., both musically and compositionally.

This work is made up of fourteen songs that were hits and that today are rock classics such as the song that gives the album its name or “Brillante sobre el mic”, "Roll my life", “A dress and a love”, "Tombs of Glory" and "The Magic Wheel", to name a few.

The album had great guests such as Luis Alberto Spinetta, Mercedes Sosa, Fabiana Cantilo, Celeste Carballo, Charly García (with whom he composed “The Magic Wheel”), Andres Calamaro, Gustavo Cerati, Chango Farias Gomez, Daniel Melingo y Rolf Fatorusso.

It is worth remembering that in October 2013, coinciding with the album's 20th anniversary, a recording of a concert held at the Planetarium of the City of Buenos Aires was made.
