Fito Páez was the great Argentine winner of the Latin Grammys

The Argentine musician Fito Páez received the awards for Best Pop/Rock Album, Best Rock Song and Best Pop/Rock Song within the framework of the Latin Grammys and became the most awarded national artist by the Latin Recording Academy.

Fito received the awards for his album "Los años salvajes", as "The best of our lives" and "Babel" (with Carlos Vives) were the award-winning songs in the categories Best Rock Song and Best Pop/Rock Song, respectively.

With these awards, Fito Páez added eleven statuettes throughout his career, plus Lifetime Achievement Award 2021 (for Musical Excellence), awarded by the Latin Recording Academy, in recognition of contributions of outstanding artistic value to Latin music.

Within that context, The man from Rosario thus became the most awarded Argentine artist and composer in the history of the Latin Grammys. When receiving the awards, the multifaceted artist, thanked "Argentine popular music and Latin American popular music".

On the other hand, Fito also had the honor of delivering the most important award of the night, Album of the year, to the Spanish Rosalía.
