In the morning hours of this Tuesday the nominees for the Latin Grammy Awards were announced and Fito Páez marked a new milestone in his career by being chosen for three categories simultaneously.

In this context, the artist was chosen to compete in the categories "Album of the Year", "Best Pop / Rock Album" and "Best Pop / Rock Song" for "La Canción de las Bestias", name that also gives name to his most recent record label.

The disc, which has already become one of the most listened to in Rosario's career, was produced by Sony Music and recorded at Capitol Studios, Ocean Way Nashville Studio (Nashville) e Igloo Music (Burbank). It consists of nine unreleased songs, all composed by Páez except for “Ey, You!”, which was written together with Hernán "Mala Fama" Coronel.

The artistic production was in charge of the Rosario artist together with Diego Olivero and the renowned Argentine recording engineer Gustavo Borner, winner of 16 Grammys.

In addition to the musicians in his band, The album features the return of the historic bassist William Vadalá (who participated in nine albums by Fito, among them the multi-award winning "Love after love") and renowned American drummer Abraham Laboriel Jr. (Paul McCartney y Sting). Outstanding international and national musicians also participated, such as Juanes, Lali, Ca7riel, Nacho godoy, Franco Saglietti and Mateo Sujatovich.
