Fito Páez and Emilio Solla, Argentine winners in the Latin Grammy

Argentine musicians Fito Páez and Emilio Solla were the winning artists within their respective categories in a new edition of the Latin Grammy Awards.

Páez, with two statuettes, won the awards within the Best Song categories, for "The Song of the Beasts" and "Best Pop / Rock Album", for his most recent work entitled "The Conquest of Space".

While, Emilio Solla, Pianist from Mendoza and based in New York won the statuette in the Best Latin Jazz Album category, for his album “Puertos: Music from International Waters”, recorded with his Tango Jazz Orchestra.

Regarding Páez, He was also one of the national artists who performed live, in this case from La Cúpula del CCK, performing "The song of the beasts" with Nathy Peluso. The other national musician to play during the ceremony was Nahuel Pennisi, from Miami.

On the other hand, the great winner of the 21st edition of the Latin Grammy was the Mexican Natalia Lafourcade, who won the awards for Best Album of the Year for “Un canto por México, Vol. 1”. It also took the categories "Best Regional Mexican Song" ("My religion) and "Best Alternative Song" (for the song "En Cantos", that he did with iLe).
