Argentine and Chilean photographers in a virtual exhibition in Washington

A total of 11 Chilean and national photographers will participate in the exhibition "Southern Dialogues", that will be carried out by the Museum of American Art of the OAS, located in Washington.

Under the curatorship of the Argentines Elda Harrington and Silvia Mangialardi, The exhibition will have its kickoff this Thursday from 18 (Argentina hour) and will offer the possibility of providing views on their own places, from the beauty and vulnerability of its ecosystems, their trades and traditions, even its inhospitable or leafy landscapes.

The opening will take place through the Zoom platform and will be attended by both curators, plus the artists María Zorzon and Fabián España, with the moderation of Fabián Goncalves Borrega, Curator of Photography of the Art Museum of the Americas, US.

Museum authorities and representatives of both countries before the Organization of American States will also participate in the opening. (OAS), as well as Enrique Avogadro, Secretary of Culture of the City of Buenos Aires.

"Southern Dialogues" has the Argentines are Laura Antonelli, Alejandro Gulminelli, Gerardo Schachner and María Zorzon; and among Chilean photographers: Fabian Spain Rivera, Claudio Frías Beyer, Cristhian Garabito Altamirano, Jonaz Gómez Sánchez, Alejandra Lafón Vilugrón, Marcelo Mascareño Cortez and Tania Morgado Jofré.
