Between 30 March and 5 In April, the ninth edition of the Italian Film Week will take place at the Cinépolis Recoleta, which on this occasion will project 11 outstanding productions.

From the hand of the Neapolitan Mario Martone will arrive two films: “Nostalgia”, which has references to Homer's Ulysses and "The King of Laughter", a tribute to the renowned theater artist Eduardo Scarpetta.

“Primadonna” de Marta Savina, is another of the films that will be part of the meeting. It is the portrait of a woman who reminds us to fight against the laws imposed by the dominant patriarchal power.. “Piccolo corpo” also appears among the female directors, by Laura Samani, a film that already had a long run at different festivals and whose plot revolves around a painful duel that takes place between drama and fantasy.

From the hand of Francesco Costabile appears "A female", the story of a woman who must face her past and a fate sealed by her family.

Finally, "September" by Giulia Louise Steigerwalt, the renowned actress and screenwriter who makes her debut as a director of a comedy that is based on the search for happiness in the different stages of life.

The program is completed with "Margini", production that delves into contemporary punk and that has already had its presence at the Venice Festival and “Calcinculo”, a story of initiation into adolescence between two beings who, for its singularities, they are rejected by the society around them, forming a bond between them.
