The Culture area of ​​the Honorable Chamber of Deputies of the Nation announced the winners of the theatrical contest "Power and Politics", which was based on the values ​​expressed in the Preamble to the Constitution.

As detailed in a statement, texts were received from all sectors of the country, with a selection by Mariela Asensio (CABA), Elena Bossi (Jujuy), Gladis gomez (Chaco), Raul Brambilla (CABA) and Mauricio Kartun (CABA), personalities of recognized trajectory in the theatrical and cultural work of the country, who evaluated the guidelines established in the bases, as well as the quality in the writing of the texts.

The first prize was for the play "Antígonx unpronounceable" by Patricio Ruiz (blue), the second prize for “Vacaman” by Diego de Miguel (La Plata) and the third for "Pibitxs del río" by Fabián Díaz (Caba).

Regarding the winning works, the Jury stated that: "Unpronounceable Antigonx deserves first prize for its dramatic structure, his personal poetics, the complex universe, genuine and challenging (…), questioning the validity of the words of the Preamble ", while Vacaman stands out for "the originality of his dramaturgy and the epic that is erected through the myth proposed in national metaphors", and Pibitxs del Río for "the power and suggestive lyricism of history and the different languages ​​with which geography narrates".

On the other hand, the HCDN awarded six special mentions without merit order "Collective" of María Laura Fernández, "The People United Never" by Lucía Laragione and Marcelo Cosin, "The rest of the others" by Mariano Saba, "Ingobernable" by Leonel Giacometto, "The world is a handkerchief" by Alejandro Robino and "The color of the wind" by Julieta Correa Saffi.

The award to all winners will be held in person during the next month.

The jury highlighted the quality and above all the participation of the filmmakers, being a total of 230 the works presented.
