The scholarships -of 50 one thousand pesos each- are intended for artists, curators and researchers, in all disciplines across the country. They are intended to provide emergency financial assistance to those people who work with Cultural Heritage independently and who are not currently receiving continuous remuneration and, at once, "Activate" the heritage of museums and national institutes from academic and experimental approaches.

As detailed from the Secretariat, the variety of projects received shows “the interest in diverse communities of artists and researchers to approach, explore and reinterpret public collections ". At the same time, in the presentations, “The development of strategies to expand sensitive knowledge and access to artistic collections stands out, historical and archaeological, even in the isolation conditions of the current context ".

The focus on the choice of proposals had three general typologies: artistic investigations, academic research and technical interventions. Some focus on specific collections of a museum or institute and others test cross-sectional crossings of various organisms through a common theme..
